What PokeVS collects
You can play without an account. PokeVS records gameplay needed to run a match and, if you choose a public trainer name, stores that name and your submitted scores for the leaderboard. Your browser also stores a guest identity token and recently played matchups so the game can work across visits.
Analytics
PokeVS uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, traffic sources, device categories and core game actions such as starting, completing or sharing a game. Advertising signals and ad personalization are disabled. PokeVS does not send trainer names to Google Analytics.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the site and processes normal network logs. Google provides analytics. PokéAPI provides Pokémon data and artwork. These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
Your choices
You can block or clear cookies and local storage in your browser. You can also use Google's Analytics opt-out tools. Clearing local storage removes the guest identity held on your device but does not remove previously submitted public leaderboard scores.
